Motorised Day-Night
A motor with remote or app control, ideal for large living-room windows and high or hard-to-reach openings.
Cordless Child-Safe
A spring or motorised mechanism with no hanging cords, the safest choice for children's rooms.

Day-Night Blinds — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between day-night and zebra blinds?
There is no difference — day-night, zebra and vision blinds are three names for the same product: a dual-layer roller blind with alternating sheer and solid bands. Capetown Blinds uses the names interchangeably.
How do day-night blinds work?
Two layers of striped fabric hang on one roller. Roll the blind a few centimetres and the solid stripes line up to block the view and most light; roll it back and the sheer stripes align to let in filtered daylight while keeping the view out to the garden.
How much do day-night blinds cost in Cape Town?
Day-night (zebra) blinds start from around R650 per m². Pricing depends on the fabric, the size and whether you add a motor; every quote is exact and free after we measure.
Are day-night blinds good for privacy?
Yes. In the closed position the solid bands overlap to block the view into your home while still letting through a little light. For full privacy and darkness at night, choose a blockout day-night fabric.
Can day-night blinds be motorised?
Yes. Capetown Blinds fits motorised day-night blinds with remote or app control, which is ideal for large living-room windows, stacker doors and high or hard-to-reach windows.
